The sensors run on batteries and the gateway keeps recording for up to 12 hours on its own battery, so you can see exactly how far each cabinet warmed and how quickly it recovered when power returned. That record is what tells you whether stock is still safe.

Yes. The sensors are independent of the cabinet, so the system works with any existing refrigeration regardless of brand or age.
